On September 17, the limited reservation window for the upcoming Ferris Wheel Press fountain pen and ink collection will open. This time, we’re celebrating Harry Potter’s 25th anniversary.

The latest fountain pen model, The Masque, officially launched just a week ago, and we’ve already seen it in more than five different colorways. Now it’s time for four more, available in both metal and composite bodies — eight different options in total. Ferris Wheel Press clearly isn’t slowing down, and the new pen is the perfect canvas for all kinds of collaborations. (👀)

Harry Potter 25th Anniversary Ink & Writing Collection

The upcoming second collection connected to the Harry Potter universe will consist of four colorways of The Masque fountain pen and four inks.

Dementor: a purple pen with black accents. The purple ink features gold-and-green shimmer particles and a Dementor on the cap.

Albus Dumbledore: a brown and beige pen with gold accents. The brown ink features gold shimmer particles and Fawkes on the cap.

Harry Potter: a light blue pen with silver accents. The steel blue ink features silver shimmer particles and a stag on the cap.

Severus Snape: a turquoise pen with silver accents. The turquoise ink features silver shimmer particles and a doe on the cap.

The Masque pens are the first Ferris Wheel Press pens in history to feature a clip. As you can see above, each one is unique to its colorway and connected to its respective character. And yes, they’re wands! Well, except for the Dementor, obviously.

The pens will be available in two versions: Limited Edition, with a metal body, and a standard version made from composite. I haven’t had a chance to test the latter yet, but I absolutely love the first one.

As you may already know, The Masque will support interchangeable Jowo #6 nibs, which means that both the Adventurer’s Nib set and nibs from The Joule or The Marquise will be compatible with it.

As you may have guessed from the mention of a deposit, the Harry Potter™ 25th Anniversary: Patronus™ Ink and Writing Collection will be available in the same way as the previous Batman and Lord of the Rings anniversary collections. Not through Kickstarter, but through a special reservation window for the first 100 customers.

How it works

On September 17, 2026, the reservation window will open on each regional Ferris Wheel Press website. There will be only 100 spots available in total across all regions, allowing customers to purchase and reserve the new collection ahead of its regular release.

There is no limit on the number of items you can purchase during the reservation window. Once you reach the checkout, you will need to pay a 30% deposit immediately. The remaining balance will only be due in December, shortly before the collection becomes available for regular sale.

What you need to know:

The collection will also be available normally on the website, although in limited quantities. It should arrive in the second half of December.

Want to find out even more? You can find the campaign website here.

The 100 spots for the Lord of the Rings collection were gone in less than an hour, so I’d definitely set a reminder now. Batman wasn’t quite as popular, and spots remained available for several days.

What will happen with Harry Potter? We’ll find out in a little over a month, but I definitely won’t be waiting around!

Psst.
